Our Story

Our story begins in 2010 in Tuscany’s bustling capital of Florence: Italy’s cultural epicentre, steeped in generations of unfaltering tradition.

We were two University students from Canada who had traveled to Italy to discover our roots, and there was no better place to start. Walking the same cobble-stoned alleyways and back roads as famous artists and poets like Leonardo Da Vinci and Niccolò Machiavelli, we journeyed to experience the tastes and smells of our ancestors.

And then one morning we stumbled across a small cafe on a quiet street serving black gold, and we knew our lives had come to this. We had to find a way to have everyone we knew experience what we felt on that day. Needless to say, we couldn’t bring everyone to this small back street cafe, so we did the next best thing: we brought it to them.

At Tubino, we believe that coffee is more than just fuel. It tells the story of generations of farmers and roasters who have dedicated their lives to the perfection of their craft. Established in 1932, and already a household name across Europe, Tubino is now available in Canada through our exclusive partnerships.

Our mission was simple, discover Italy, and ultimately, we discovered Tubino.
